Time diminishes the charm of many of our possessions, but handmade items were made to be treasured for a lifetime. There is a beauty behind the handiwork, for each stage of its creation unveils a new dimension to the piece. In this manner, the complex development of aroma in our teas is the result of skilled craftsmanship during every stage of production and we take pride in the unique character of our finished craft.
Direct from our family estate, we have cultivated this altitude black tea organic using traditional methods and handpicked the harvest ourselves on the mountain slopes of Shouning County. At 3,000 feet above sea level, the shoots of the tea tree undergo a period of dormancy, and re-emerge in the new season to carry an intense concentration of aromatic oils. Scents of brown sugar caramel and milk chocolate merge with flavours of sweet potato and yam, transporting you to the invigorating serenity of the Fujian mountains.
