In the South of Italy, the cultivation of the bergamot orange is a regional specialty. The fruit is less sour than lemon and more bitter than grapefruit, and the aromatic oils are extracted from the skin of the citrus. The essential oil is blended with orthodox Ceylon tea and the leaves are processed the traditional way of rolling and pressing, which produces a higher quality leaf. The mild tea base ensures the rich flavour of citrus is assertive on the palate and is excellent as an iced tea. European blue cornflowers adorn this blend to look as pretty as it tastes.

Unlike most earl greys on the market that usually contain artificial flavorings, Altitude Grey is blended 100% real bergamot oil.

This tea comes in a resealable kraft pouch containing 70g of Loose Leaf Tea.

Brewing Altitude Grey
Without milk – 1 teaspoon per cup at 96 degrees Celsius for 1 minutes and 30 seconds

With milk – 1 teaspoon per cup at 96 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes

Cold Brewed Ice Tea – 1 teaspoon in 250 ml cold water, brew overnight
