Ingredients: High Altitude Grown Tian Guan Yin Oolong Tea
Amongst the many treasures traded in ancient China, silk and jade and tea were some of the most admired items in the world. The expression, ‘soft as silk, smooth as jade,’ originates in this era of the Han Dynasty, and is sometimes used to describe tea of exceptional quality. The beauty of such classic Chinese innovations still hold an eternal appeal to this very day.
Grown at 3,937 feet above sea level this tea is renowned for it’s floral scent. A firmly rolled oolong with a visual semblance to tiny pieces of jade stone. Lightly baked tieguanyin oolong tea produces a bouquet of orchids, gardenia and soft lilac. An elegant, silky body with the taste of light honey water and subtle nuttiness. The finish is refreshing with a sweet fragrance which lingers long after the cup is empty.
This tea comes in a reusable canister containing 100g of Loose Leaf Oolong Tea.
